For years, hundreds of prospective students have been urging our institution to consider a Student Loan and Scholarship Program to assist those who are deprived of a training opportunity because of their financial circumstances. After years of consultation and feasibility studies, our institution decided that it may be possible to grant up to fifty student loans annually and provide an average of eighty scholarships to international students over the next five years.

Requirements to obtain a student loan
Student Loans are provided for up to 51% percent of the total course cost, and only cover tuition fees. These loans are dealt with on a case by case basis and can take as much as two to three weeks for a decision to be made, as the loans are unsecured. Repayment with a 20% interest generally starts two months after the student would have obtained employment (after graduation).
To apply, please use the standard online application form and submit it with an indication (from the application drop down menu) that you wish to be considered for a student loan.
During processing our admissions office will refer your application to a Student Loan Officer who would contact you to discuss your case. You will be asked to provide additional information and other private data during the online interview process. The Loan officer generally takes a few days to decide on an application, and would contact you after two interviews with a decision.
If the loan application is approved, you must pay off the entire remaining percentage of the non-loan amount, or the officer can establish a payment plan depending on your circumstances.

Requirements to obtain a scholarship
Our Institution is relatively small and cannot extend full scholarships to students, as most of the courses are provided by external parties and airlines with which we have training contracts. Therefore, all scholarships are 40% funded by us while the remaining 60% will have to be taken care of by the student or their sponsor. A scholarship covers tuition fees, medical insurance and accommodation cost during internship.

In order to qualify for a scholarship, the applicant would have had to first satisfy our standard admission requirements. Two sets of applications are required. The student should use our standard online application form and submit it with an indication (from the application drop down menu) that they wish to be considered for a scholarship. After submitting the standard application, the student will be sent a scholarship supporting details form via reply email or they can simply Click Here to download the supporting form. After completing the form, the applicant should send the completed form back to us or scan and email the form to training@flightattendants.org.
The application normally takes one to two weeks to process after which a student counselor would contact you to discuss your application, and to advise whether the Institute will consider it, need more information, etc.
Once a scholarship is considered the student would be required to pay off at least 35% of the total fees prior to starting the courses, and the remaining 25% before doing the second module.
